Construction and property disputes
For builders, trades, suppliers and the owners who hired them.
Construction cases are about money and time: who was paid, who wasn't, and whose delay it was. We act for general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers chasing payment, and for owners answering defect and delay claims or bringing their own.
Lien and bond claims run on short notice deadlines that start with the last day of work, not the day the invoice went unpaid. If you are owed money on a project that has stalled, write to us before you send another invoice.
What we handle on a project
Payment claims and liens
Notices, claims of lien, bond claims and the lawsuits that enforce them.
Defects and workmanship
Claims that work was done badly, for the owner bringing them or the builder answering.
Delay and change orders
Disputes over who caused a delay and who pays for work that was added along the way.
Property and boundary disputes
Easements, encroachments and disputes between neighboring commercial owners.
A lien claim, priced
Most unpaid trades start here. Each fee is fixed before we begin.
